Unique Work and Train Opportunity Coronet Peak

This unique program gives all successful applicants a full time job with the Snowsports School, and then after that you will train full time in a dedicated ISIA Level 3 training course.

What do I need to take part in this Work and Train Program?

All applicants for this program will need to have a recognised Level 2 Snowboard Instructor qualification. This can be NZSIA Level 2 or APSI, BASI, CASI, PSIA-AASI Level 2.

All applicants will need to have the right to work in New Zealand. You must have your own work visa.

Will there be an employment Interview?

To be accepted to Work at the Snowsports School you will be required to enter into the employment process with NZSki including filling in application forms and a job interview. We will guide you through this process.

It is a fully paid job!

Therefore you will need to apply for the SITCo Work Train Program and then take part in a full employment interview.

There are exclusive work places for those on the SITCo Work Train Program.

What Is The Pay Rate For a Snowboard Instructor?

Successful applicants will be fully employed members of the Ski and Snowboard School, and you will get paid at the rate organised by the employer at the time of taking you on.

It is very hard to say exactly how much you will be paid as each instructor gets paid individually based on an hourly rate, and based on the type of work they are doing.

When you are an employee full terms and conditions of your employment will be in force.

How Do I Apply?

First thing you need to do is to make an Online Application from the SITCo website. Simply go to Online booking page...

Once you have submitted an application a member of the SITCo team will be in touch and we will ask for evidence of previous qualifications, and your work visa.

Your application will then be passed on to the HR department of Coronet Peak Snowsports School. If you pass through the first phases of the HP process you will then be required to complete and take a job interview.

The successful candidates will then be chosen.

SITCo Level 3 Snowboard training program is designed to allow you to come to NZ and train for the SBINZ Level 3 qualification adn use the perfect "off season" training environment that NZ provides.

The SITCo training program takes place between the SBINZ L3 Pre-Course and SBINZ L3 Exam

The SBINZ L3 is a high level of qualification, and it is the ISIA Stamp Level.
