5 Week Level 2 Ski Instructor Course

For those that already have a Ski Level 1 qualification.

Even if you have your Level 1, if you have time check out our
10 week ski course
or our 8 week ski course,
for those that have skied a lot check out the
5 week Intensive L1+L2 Ski Course.

SITCo's 5 week Level 2 only course is an ideal way for people who already have their Level 1 qualification, and who are now ready to move forward and train for and acheive thier Level 2. It is possible that you might have a Level 1 qualification from NZ, or from UK, Canada or the US. If you have a Level 1 qualification from overseas, don't hesitate to get in touch and we'll confirm that you are eligable to move on to the NZSIA Level 2.

On successful completion of the 5 week ski course you will train for the NZSIA Level 2.

What Can I Expect On My Ski Instructor Course?

You can expect to be involved in a ski training program that will be a lot of fun, a lot of hard work and you will have a lot of challenges to over come. But in the end of the 5 weeks you will be a much better skier than you can ever imagine, with the skills and the knowledge to go out and work as ski instructor, or to ski with family and friends with a solid understanding of what makes good skiing.


You will be training on snow 3 days a week sometimes more, and then we will expect you to be practicing what you have learnt at least another two days a week. On top of that there will be video analysis session in the evenings and every week there will be at least one evening theory session indoors per week.
